I love the old-fashioned language, the repeitition of "noble", and rich Romantic themes.

One of the greatest romances? Please excuse me, I just need to have a yawn. Bitterly disappointing, and I still think Northanger Abbey was the real best of all her works. Still. Need. To. Push. To. Finish.

AMAZING. So much easier to read than Jane Eyre books, and it actually has a SETTING.

I first picked up this book due to its intriguing cover, though was disappointed when I realised that this wasn't set in the Victorian times, as I expected. After only reading the prologue and the first chapter, I feel like the story would indeed be more in place if it was set in an earlier time period.

Tbh, I didn't like Luke at all, nor Abi (as of yet), whose brother's description did no justice to her.

So far... I thought I was going to love it at first, but the main character’s development just happened too fast and in a way I didn’t like. The love interest was described in a most dreary way that I didn’t even known he would play a big role at first. 2 stars rating in mind.
