This is my favourite book.

It's very dense. The sort of book you read like a freewheeling snail. The highlights will be good though.

Reading it again. It's so good.

A detailed narrative, interestingly told, tracking the troubles and convictions of a missionary to Central and South America.

Very well written. Brings you to face the ick, the wickedness of the old and destructiveness of the new. Not sure where it's going.

Apparently I enjoyed it in 2017 so I'm reading it again now.

Not really enjoying this one. There's a lot of explaining and telling, like the relationship between author and reader has shifted. I'm not sure if Wight has employed writers or AI but it is inconsistent with the previous style.
