this has been such a slog to get through now, and i honestly want to DNF it, but i won't.

wintrow is so dumb and probably my least favorite, but I looooove the mess he’s creating.

the writing style is reminding me of lessons in chemistry and i love it.

seems this will be another loss from the book club I’m in. maybe it’s time to no longer read the suggested book…

I was really struggling there for a bit, but now it’s picked back up again and I don’t want to put it down.

Once you get past that 130 page mark, the book picks up!

I also took a particular character for granted, Fitz. It’s SO HARD to not spoil myself and find out if they come back.

Wasn't expecting to feel terrified when reading this, but now I want all the lights on and it's still daylight outside.

I don’t think I like Anne Rice’s writing style. It’s interesting but still utterly boring at the same time. I care for no one, and would have DNF’d if I didn’t want an audiobook.

Home stretch here 😭 I’m sitting on a 3.5 rounded down at the moment.

I think I’m hitting the point where reading two at the same time is going to get confusing. I just ran into Komatsu while there is also a Komatsu in 1Q84🙃

Is it a good idea to be reading 1Q84 at the same time? Maybe not, but they’re different enough.

So far it’s a beautiful love story, and I’m excited to keep reading and see how it turns out. The concepts are just very interesting.

I really like Lady Patience. Now that I’m used to her writing style, I’m really enjoying the books more.
