50% book review (just got to pt 2). First half was slow to me. The story didn’t speed up much until page 170 or so. I also felt like she was trying to fit so much into one book that a lot of things are skipped over. Ex: it’s Christmas and they go cut down a tree and wrap presents in newspaper, then we never read about them opening the presents and it’s suddenly January… hoping pt 2 is more exciting.
