I’m sure he’s a great guy and his philanthropy efforts later in life are admirable but oh my cats this book is pretentious. It is aggravating me so much that a not-environmental specialist keeps repeating to me what we need to do right now in the manner you would tell a three year old. He’s not wrong. We also already know. Ugh!!! Painful read!!

Past the halfway mark and they are still nowhere near getting up into space, and there has been nothing sci-fi either up to this point 🤔🧐

So far not very helpful for me personally, but I’ll push through because it’s something Brené Brown suggested.

This book is so heavy and real and heartbreaking. I don’t think you’d be able to really understand it if you haven’t lived through DV. So sad and broken and beautiful.
