Tying up loose ends as it develops, wish I’d reread all the other books first so I could remember details more clearly

Another alluring, enchanting observation of a Italian life, with a love story tucked in for good measure. Love this woman’s writing, inspirational

Lengthy prologue, followed by wordy tale. Not holding my attention frankly...

A good read, plenty of food references, little bit pretentious, or maybe that is the story they are trying to portray. Unsure, but enjoying for the most part so far.

Want to go back there.

After a lengthy prologue in which the translator argues the accuracy or otherwise of the various translations of the book I have finally reached the actual account written by a fellow prisoner of Marco Polo whist they were both imprisoned in Genoa. Finally, an adventure to get engrossed in.

Loved this writers first book and have been waiting to read this one.

Great read. Loving the garden stuff. Hard to comprehend the blind loyalty to someone so devoid of any moral compass, but looking forward to finding out how the story concludes.

Can't finish this book. It's too harrowing.
