The closing pages of "Morning", which oddly detail a "mourning" speak much. Probably one of the most profound pages I've ever read was page 62 in my version.

This is so far a pretty hilarious jaunt through Louisiana. A good break from heavier stuff.

Took me 3 days of spot reading to get to the end of Chapter 1, but the set up thrown down in the last paragraph of the chapter puts everything into motion in a way I can tell I'm going to like the book already.

From "Dinosaurs"- "He drove a company pickup, a big silver Ford F-250 with four-wheel-drive he rarely had to use. On the back glass he'd attached a Greenpeace decal. He knew the gas-guzzling truck and the sticker contradicted each other, but Steadman had been at odds with himself lately, a but distracted."
