Best book I’ve read this year!

The chapter on money was outstanding!

This book is amazing!

I have found Qohelet to be both a good teacher and a great teacher. But I have to warn you, Qohelet does far more unsettling than satisfying. He disquiets more than he quiets.

Ecclesiastes tells the story of someone who saw it all, got it all, experienced it all, and in the end found fault with it all.

One of happiness’s many paradoxes is that you don’t get happy by aiming at happiness but by leading a life worth living. So the question “How can I be happy?” opens downward onto a deeper one: “What makes life worth living?”

One way to be unhappy is to lack what you most want. Another is to get all you could possibly want and discover that everything is never enough.

Mostly a memoir and less self help, but the advice sprinkled in is worth it.

This was a wild time to be alive.

I’m enjoying this book. The author has an excellent writing style that keeps the book fun and engaging.
