So far, this is a good one for young adults. Not too much action, but enough to keep you interested. And, so far, there hasn't been anything I would be afraid to let a child read.

So far, this book isn't to my taste. It is very slow reading. Unlike Robert Jordan (who similarly has very descriptive settings, profiles, etc.) - this author seems to need an "edit" button. I keep waiting for it to pick up - but, 30 pages in and it is still slow. We'll see...

Okay, second part of the review - book is really picking up. I am actually enjoying the characters!

It ended much better. Too bad it started out slow, or it would have gotten a much better review from me.
