Way too many twists and the back half falls apart. Pacing is way off. Was so excited on the front half but didn’t love it in the end.

What a terrible narration. The overuse of”hell” and “hellfire” was insufferable. I blasted through this as quickly as possible just to be done. Would not recommend.

This narration is so bad. And the main character is insufferable.

I do not love Kristin Hannah

I hate the narrator on this book

Before anyone (Sabrina) says anything: yes, I am reading a Kristin Hannah book. I expect her to torment a woman for my female pleasure. I am doing so as it was selected by one of my book clubs. Let’s see how this goes.

I’m so exhausted by this man. He passingly mentions interesting interactions/anecdotes that would be a book I’d like to read and then once again digs into track lists and songs he likes cross fading. Redundant and boring and that’s coming from a music and vinyl lover.

This is just a nepo baby running through track lists. Painful.

Well this is depressing
