I love Endo but he does overuse the unlikely coincidence thing a bit - I'm only on page 92 and there have been four already!

My opinion of this book is plummeting rapidly!

Quite enjoyed this, but no great shakes. Although it's well-written and keeps you reading, it lacked substance, the characters were a bit on the cardboard side, and it wrapped things up a little too neatly at the end.
