I don't know if it's AB's writing or if it's this friend group or if it's one of the best narrators of our lifetime (I missed you Lauren Sweet) but reading this book from the very first page it's felt like home and I *happily sobs*.

I have read SW books before but this one, this one makes me feel like SW is a brand new author to me. It's so so good.

not that i ever see them coming, but i really did not see that plot twist coming 🤯🤯

i thought this book was gonna go somewhere and i was waiting and waiting and waiting and it’s clear that it isn’t going to happen 🤦🏼‍♀️ still excited to see how these two mc’s storyline will be woven together !!

i am in loveeeee. i was so hesitant because i didn’t really like either of our mcs when they were present in the previous book but i’m absolutely in love with them so far!!

i’m obsessed !! i’m not totally in love with the main characters but i really really love the storyline and the humor that comes with our hero reading a regency novel ☺️

i’m confused as to why everyone seems to hate our main character but what i’m not confused about is everyone making me want to punch them 😌

i want to read this as fast as i can because OBSESSED but i also want to savor it 😭😭 but the thing i love most about andie j’s books is the humor. she has one of my favorite lines ever in a book and chapter 11 in this book had me laughing so much. 🤪

the way i squealed when i found out the narrator was the same as for the roommate 😅😅 but anyway surprising no one I AM ABSOLUTELY OBSESSED. sasha is like my girl, like fr fr

unfortunately sleep is a thing (said only me when my mind and heart are being taken away by rachel hawkins) but i can’t wait to read the rest of this story because as predicted i’m utterly in love.

thoughts so far:

— i literally squeal whenever elle is mentioned and i’m not at all surprised about it
— i love darcy in this book, like even more than wihs. i just can really grasp her so much more when she’s not fudging things up with elle and it’s got me feeling so soft. i’ve actually even cried.
— i love annie & brendon by themselves but i’m not quite sold on them together but i still have hope
