Well, a pretty depressing read while on vacation. A detailed description of a mother dying of cancer and a daughter caring for her mother is not very uplifting. However, it opens your eyes on the family dynamics when a loved one has a terminal illness. Interested to see how this ends for the daughter, Ellen, and the rest of the family.

I did what readers shouldn't do; I essentially skipped to the end by doing some research on Sybil via the Internet and was thoroughly disappointed when I discovered that most of her story is fabricated! I was going to stop reading because I was so mad, but I'm still finding myself reading it. We'll see what happens. I'm still curious but I don't think I'll finish this book.....
