Really intense so far.

Book, you have managed to make me tear up a couple of times, but don't think that makes up for your flaws! Your characters are basically John Green pretending to be a teenager and the story gets drowned out by the philosophical babble that comes out of every single character's mouth. on a completely different note, Sisyphus is a great name for a hamster.

Good, but ill paced.

So I've heard really good things about this book, but so far I don't think it's living up to the hype. The characters don't sound like teens, they sound like a grown man writing about teens. I really hope I change my mind.

A bit reminiscent of Lord Of The Flies.

So far I love the world building. It's interesting and vibrant, however, I don't find Yeine to be the most compelling of characters.

It's proving to be incredibly difficult for me to sort out my feelings about this book. I primarily read YA fantasy, and the style differences are immensely interesting, but I'm not sure if I like the book.
