Here we go

Saved my most anticipated for last. What am I supposed to read when I finish??

It’s taken this far to really hook me in.

My Oura ring tracked my steady elevated stress for the first 40 pages.

Haven’t been mind blown yet. A very standard story up to this point. House is haunted, husband has a secret and doesn’t believe the wife. Hoping for a nice twist. This gives Freida McFadden.

One upsetting chapter after the next.

Not sure I see this ending well for anybody.

So tough.

Loving the way this doesn’t let up.

A book where I never liked anyone, and that was fine. Jennifer Hiller does a good job of always having these messy characters in her books that you somehow end up invested in. Very tea.

I like it a lot. There’s a few different plots going on, but all of them very twisty. I’m also enjoying the settings. Colorado woods in the present, Vermont in the winter in the past, occasionally New York City. I really love the mixing of true crime and literary drama.

Actually kind of hate it. And not in a fun way.
