I bought this book the day it came out in 2021. I was just about to move to uni. I then did not read it for the following 5 years, but carried it with me across 5 living arrangements. I have spilt two cups of coffee on it during this time.

I don't think I've read this book since I was in sixth form. Adult Daisy's takes are:
Marianne is autistic. I love the way she's written.

Having just read Just Kids, I keep having to remind myself this is a work of fiction and not real life because it really does feel real
