What is up with the new "literary fiction" and having bad writing, underdeveloped characters with no growth, pacing, or just overall blandness? Where is character growth? Where is the good pacing? The books I am told to pick up and read are not good enough and should be better. #sighs I guess I am going back to my comfort reads of mysteries and romance.
