Stayed reading till 4 am and now I’m running on 2 hours of sleep. I literally couldn’t put this book down.

It really feels like this is dragging for me, like the same thing keeps happening over and over. I hope it gets more interesting. With all the stakes, I feel like Johnny and Shannon act too carelessly, and the adults around them really do have their best interests at heart, but they just don’t care lol

My favorite story is the last one for sure. It was so great to see Nene in a different light and learn the whole backstory of her and her sisters. Plus, Sebastian and the Seelie Queen’s part answered some questions, and we also got to see baby Ash. It made me so excited for The Wicked Powers and made me even more curious about Ash. I already like him a lot, and I hope he ends up with Dru.

Clary and Jace's story was everything, it gave so much. I love them and they will always have a special place for me. Really good story, very melancholic, and I think it’s really setting up The Wicked Powers and The Black Volume of the Dead, with so many little clues.

Izzy and Simon's story was super cute. I love how it connects with Jordelia's story.

Why is Jemma's story more like a haunting story? And yes, there's cheating 😩 (but with a plot-driven, morally gray reason behind it.) The ending is just heartbreaking and so sad. I have a soft spot for Thule characters. They are supposed to be the bad guys, but I can't help feeling for them.

Anna and Ari's story was nice but a bit odd, and it ended rather abruptly. The dialogue was good though.

I liked Kierarktina way more than I thought I would. It was so interesting and leaves you with questions. I also feel it is hinting at The Wicked Powers. The Unseelie Court feels so different from the Seelie Court, like you were really there in that cold, eerie atmosphere.

Zachary's Day Out was ok, just a really odd story.

"Just... come back." Kicking my feet and screaming into my pillow. Jocelyn and Luke’s story is so beautiful, so full of yearning. Oh lord.

"Yo, why did James and Cordelia’s story almost make me cry at the end 😭 It was so beautiful, way beyond 5 stars. Super creative too. But why is Lucie lowkey hijacking their story? Lmao she's kinda annoying, sorry to any Lucie stans. Anyway, it was a good story but not really a James and Cordelia couple moment like Will and Tessa's was.

Honestly, everyone is way too unfair to Darren.

Just finished A Sea of Change, Mathew's story. It was short but sweet, really interesting! Cassie managed to pack a couple of great twists into such a brief story, which is pretty amazing. I liked it.

Finally made it through chapter 3 after two weeks! It's been a bit slow going, but I'm hoping things pick up from here.

This book is sooo boring. But I've made it this far, so I might as well finish it.

This book is really interesting! I just hope it doesn’t end on a cliffhanger since we don’t have any info about the third book yet—not even a title.

This book is really odd but also really good. It’s a bummer that I started this trilogy and the third book hasn’t been published yet. At least the second one is out, so I don’t have to wait too long to find out what happens next.

Amazing book.

So far, this book is going great. Our protagonists, Adriana and Jon, are falling in love by writing back and forth in a journal. They've never met. They are in a juvenile detention center. A mystery has just been introduced: who hurt Silas? I think Lana's stepmother is genuinely trying to be a mother figure for Adriana, but Adriana just thinks she's fake and trying to replace her mom. I hope they can work it out.

The suspense! I'm on the edge of my seat! It's so good. Rina please continue this series 😭💔
