this book is infuriating, but the fact that the dog eats a bunch of grapes and survives is downright annoying to me, how is enzo alive why am I still reading

My friend read this book on holiday and she is not a romance person, described it as “ hallmark movie” and “well it was a book” she’s very correct so far but I just had to read it

Good god he’s going to suffer more than this but christ

I got so mad that they brought him a birthday cake that I had to stop for a moment

if I stop reading here he won’t have to go through all this on his birthday of all days

A lot of fantasy words and not a lot actually happening

How do I say I’m not a fan of the writing but I still want to see how the story goes. The pace is quite slow so we shall see I guess.
