Horrible chapter to read on the bus!!!!!

This feels like it’s setting up to kill everyone I care about 😭😭

I feel like I’ve read so much of this but it’s just bc the intro and then the forward were 40 pages lol. Really interesting! Going to take me a while! I’m googling a lot of words!

I am going to kill myselfffffffffffgghfksmdnama

Draggginggg this out bc I do not want it to be over 🥹

Fucking sad

“And this I believe: that the free, exploring mind of the individual human is the most valuable thing in the world.“

rocking my world

The comparison of the public’s reaction to the first person killed by a car versus Madison Lyden in 2018… when did we become a country that doesn’t care that children and neighbors and members of our communities, and complete strangers are being killed by something that’s making our world objectively worse. Really does just put a pit in your stomach.

let’s go girls

loving this so far

this is reading like it was written by a man who has never spoken to a stranger in his life lol

this is getting to be a little too depressing

Minnesota mention and it was a depressing chapter about parking lots and malls ruining our thriving corridors and downtown ✌️✌️

“We are wasting away, clinging to the rotten system we know instead of taking a chance on something new and better. In our quest to make it as easy as possible to park, we’ve made it awfully hard to do anything else.”

You thought i was annoying about public transit before?? it’s going to get so much worse after this book (also idc! fuck cars and u for relying on them for everything!)

the ending of this book is going to ruin my life!! i can already tell!!

16 pages in, already cried 🫶🏻

one of my favs to end the year 🫶🏻

god my therapist is having me do this bc of my evil ex boyfriend and the damage he has done!!! #celibacy
