Got butterflies reading a scene where all the did was share ONE kiss. This book is HITTING.

she slipped in the classic Pretty Woman line of "I would have paid four" except it's 2026 and things are so horrible economically that the line is now "I would have paid 100".
I am weary. Pretty Woman is an all time favorite movie of mine.

Devouring. I fear this type of book is right up my alley.

Prepping for Nolan's The Odyssey

Here is why this book is already pissing me off: with retellings, it is my belief people should be able to pick a book up and gain enough context to understand what’s happening. I don’t want to have to do Wikipedia deep dives on who these people are and their significance in a world 3 chapters in bc we’re just supposed to know already

This is my book club book and I’m already annoyed bc I feel like I’m not gonna like it but maybe I will be wrong
