Have abandoned this for now; I did enjoy what I read of it, the stream-of-consciousness narration does have a calming and trance-like effect on me! However, it’s been languishing on my shelf for over a year, so I think it’s time to say bye-bye to this one for now and mark it as DNF. This is not a criticism of Lucy Ellman, it’s a reflection of my current attention span.

I can see I’m going to want to upgrade my Goodreads game - will try to pay back to the community by writing some reviews, instead of lazily reading those of others, and not contributing myself 😉
I’ll try and go back and write something about my most memorable and admired reads as well. Apologies if this spams you, that’s not my intention, I haven’t really been using Goodreads properly!✌🏻
