Struggling back into French…merde!!!!

A copy I borrowed to fill the time between my shift at the bar and meeting my friend. Reading this on the bus not advisable - too many adjectives, too many metaphors, overall drowned in description which makes me vaguely nauseous.

I love this book so far it’s fucking me up

Reading all my roommates books before we move out and I lose access to a wider collection of books which is why I’m reading this, my first murakami and probably the worst to start with. I have an instinctual dislike for his style and long distance running. But I am curious about how people explain themselves and why they bother doing it so here I am with this.

This book is making me feel ill!!! I can’t finish it but feel compelled to! Why is this old German man so annoying to me!
