What's up with all this aromas exuding from the vampires?! The story is not engaging. It is taking me a long time to finish reading this book.

I'm pleasantly surprised. The City Of Bones, the first book of the Mortal Instruments Series, is turning out to be quite promising. I hope it delivers!

So far Patch is coming across like a really sleazy guy. On one side Patch seems to be responsible for pretty much every single bad thing Nora has gone through, but I still feel Patch is getting setup to look guilty, even though I'm pretty pissed at him for hooking up with Marci. And with that said, I can't believe the archangels are OK with Patch messing around with Marci "the troll" and not Nora.
