There's a certain irony to listening to the audiobook of this on Spotify.
Also a certain irony to the fact that the author reads this in tiktok influencer voice, which itself is of course a product of the technocapitalist attention economy this book is so critical of.

This book seems like it will be very interesting, and important in the current zeitgeist, especially to compare the predictions from 50 years ago. However, I think the author creates an intellectually dishonest position when he dismisses key axioms of the scientific method (measurability = reality, repeatability = truth). How can you effectively disagree with a position when you can't agree on a definition for truth.

I've lost count on the eye rolls but I think one every 3 pages seems like a fair average
