I reread very few books. I want to reread this one.

This beautiful book gently deals with the complexities of life.

Liked the ending.
Disjointed writing style. Could have been edited down.
The footnotes are fun. I appreciate how it’s written in a historical/scholarly style.

“He put golden spectacles upon his nose adding another small glitter to his shining person.” P.23
