I know it’s a memoir but it’s so funny how much info we get about her affairs and how much she hates her husband.

I’m so confused why Hastings hates Inspector Japp so much in this book? I’ve read all the Poirot books in no exact order but every other time Hastings has been very neutral towards Japp!

I think this book may have been overhyped for me. The pacing is so slow, I don’t know where it’s going, it seems to be just Feyre walking around the house so far. I don’t like Tamlin for some reason, I just can’t warm to him so I’m not invested in the romance. And there is a lack of other characters, it’s just really Feyre, Lucien (who I do like) and Tamlin. Hoping to get my mind changed though.

I’m already finding Margaret to be such an annoying narrator and I wish she wasn’t the narrator or it at least swapped to the other sister’s point of views.
