I need a break, preferably a few months. I love how Murakami creates worlds and then tears them down. I love how his characters always feel so human, so realistic like very few authors manage. But there's just too much sex. I like a good sex scene but for heaven's sake, give the sex meaning. Let it be character study, plot advancement, anything but sex for sex sake. Every fan fic writer on AO3 does this better.

Is the whole novel gonna be like that? Dread and drag, how fun.
