Time to give this a redo. I feel like I didn’t absorb the audiobook the first time. So, giving my ears a rest and using my eyes this time around.

Driving back from Ontario listening to Dolly talking about her songs and her life, I found myself smiling at how nice it was to hear that sweet voice talking in my ear, almost like she was sitting beside me in the passenger seat. ❤️

Sometimes, I have a hard time at the start of a new book - particularly if it’s an audiobook. The words just don’t penetrate and I have to go back or even, supplement the listening with the print version of the book. Not so with this one. It had me in its grip from the moment that I started it on my way out of the parking lot after work last night.

Loving this. So inspirational. Brought tears to my eyes. Definitely my kind of book.

This story begins on July 15th, 1988. It’s about a couple who meet once a year over twenty years - on July 15th. I started it on July 15, 2026. Should I buy a 6/49?

Pretty good so far, although from the rating on Hoopla (2.7/5 😱), I guess we’ll see.

As a longtime Nicholas Sparks reader who’s in it mostly out of loyalty, I have to say that this one grabbed me pretty much from the outset. There’s an element of suspense/horror, no doubt thanks to M. Night Shyamalan’s contribution that just makes this so fresh and interesting. Not your average Sparks’ book.

I am LOVING the story of this little elephant. And loving that part of it is told from his POV.

I just don’t know about this one. 🤷‍♀️

I think her books are just not for me. Everyone is so awful.

Only doing this audiobook because it was available on Hoopla. AND the narrator is Julia Whelan. ❤️
