I love Kate Quinn. This book isn’t like any of her other books and I am LOVING every second I get a chance to read it. It might win my favorite book so far this year.

So far it definitely feels as slow as shield of sparrows—lots of traveling on horseback. But I’m enjoying the mystery and how things are clicking together and I’m enjoying hearing the POV of Caspia. It reminds me sort of like Manon in TOG. She’s not nearly as spicy as Manon though, but just how her storyline sort of mixed in from misunderstood to part of the team

A little slow to get into but I am really enjoying these three sisters now

My first hockey romance. I think it was recommended to me? But when the opening sentences are a spicy scene it pretty much turned me off. I keep reading it though because I’m not sure what else to read and I’m already 1/3 in. I need out of this book slump I’m feeling coming!

I always love how light hearted and fun these mysteries are. The way the audio narrates makes it very charming.

One of the creepier thrillers I’ve read in a while. Had to pick up a romance to be able to go to bed

I enjoyed that this was about more than one alibi. It required higher level thinking. A lot was going on but I enjoyed the audio book a lot.

I just can’t get into this book…I’m 13% through and it’s just not hitting for me right now. Maybe I’ll try again another time.
