Reading with Chase 😊

I enjoyed that this was about more than one alibi. It required higher level thinking. A lot was going on but I enjoyed the audio book a lot.

I just can’t get into this book…I’m 13% through and it’s just not hitting for me right now. Maybe I’ll try again another time.

If Mrs. Maisel and Lenny got together and fake dated for her career in modern time..that’s this book’s vibe. Super quirky and quick witted and I’m enjoying it! If you like the fake dating trope too…this is a book for you

This one has me crying. A lot. And I’m only half way!

I enjoyed this book a lot! I’m not sure what qualifies it as an adult book but Louis sachar’s writing dragged me in with this one just as much as his stories when I was a kid!

A quick read so far. I’m enjoying the castle vibes and the potion making and curious at what Anatole’s plans are

Crime and magical realism? Yes please!

Something about the way she writes just always keeps me on my toes at all times like something big is going to happen. Yet the word choice is so beautifully chosen, I’m also in a trance from how poetic it is. Like in Wild Dark Shore, I’m itching to keep reading it yet I know I’ll feel empty when I’m done.

This series gives me “Finlay Donovan” vibes. People who should not be trying to solve crime solving crime. It’s very amusing and a fun listen so far

Finally getting a chance to start this book! The first couple chapters had a lot of world building but I’m getting into it a little more!

It’s a reread—trying to read all the OBOB books. I remember really enjoying it though!
