So far a 10 ! I have always loved Rohr’s meditations and especially his speaking and podcasts. However, all of his books have been a slog for me and mostly I have abandoned them. This, though, is like a capstone and a revelation. I am devouring this book. I think a lot if it is timing and experience in my own walk of life and faith.

I do not want to finish this. I'm savoring the end because it is SOOOOO good. I said this on Facebook, but it bears repeating, whether you are a parent of children in your home, a parent but past that stage, a grandparent, a friendparent, it doesn't really matter - if you relate to children and youth in anyway and you have a faith you would term progressive, you should read this book!

So, I'm way too old to be reading this book. As I began, I thought to myself, "oh dear, I'm just going to be kicking myself for all the horrible, rigid, unhealthy parenting mistakes I made when my daughters were young. However, I'm pleasantly surprised by two things. First, anyone can read and enjoy this book. Second, I maybe did not do as poorly as I thought I had! #winning #PRHpartner @crownpublishing

A brilliant read upon return. So far feels more abput life than death and the two are inextricably connected anyway.

It’s a great story. The history of the conflict in narrative form.
