I sat on this book for a while after I bought it, waiting for the “right time” to read it. Finally I just decided to dive in and I’m glad I did! I already love Erin Moon’s style from her podcast, and reading this book felt the same - no holding back, raw, I’m-here-for-the-sweat-and-tears honesty. She handles difficult theology with equal parts curiosity and reverence. A must read for any follower of Jesus.

Wow. What a fantastic story!! The whole premise is a bit wild, but I love how our protagonist just goes with it. Her character development / self discovery through the book was woven in so well with the overall story. Having known very little about Arthurian legend, I still thought this was a fantastic read. Can’t wait for the sequel!!

A great study to do with my small group. Loved the theological insights and original text meanings. Personal application was also great!

Coming from a not huge historical fiction person, I liked this one. My mandatory history classes never covered much of the Vietnam War but I know it wasn’t a popular one. I never thought about how difficult it was for the women who served (or who currently serve) in the military to return to civilian life. I appreciated this insight and loved the protagonist.
