In really enjoying The Handyman Homicide. I read a lot of really dark books, and this cozy mystery is a refreshing change. I like Libby Howard's writing style and her sense of humor. Throw in a bloodhound named Elvis and a sassy mom in her 80s and I'm hooked.

I was listening to the audiobook and had to stop it five minutes it. I’ve enjoyed Melinda Leigh’s books, but I can’t deal with this narrator. Ferris Bueller’s teacher is more expressive. I’ll try reading the Kindle version, but I just can’t make myself listen to the audiobook.

I’m listening to the audiobook, and I keep waiting for the narrator to interrupt himself to yell at the damn kids to get off his lawn. It’s a struggle to hold on to my sanity. I feel like this guy might be the first step on my personal journey into darkness.

I'm re-starting the series from the beginning. Yet again. Eventually I'll power through the entire thing. I really want to see what happens, especially after Sanderson picks up the story. This time around I'm listening to the audiobook, and I'm really excited about it. Yay!

I thought I was finding this audiobook to be in the "pretty okay" range. And then I realized when I got home from work that today is the third day in a row I've sat in my car for over five minutes to listen to what comes next.

Oh, sweet unicorns, the narrator! Michael Page is perfect. I loved this book the first time around, when I read it myself. I had no idea I wasn't doing it justice until I started the audiobook.

This is about the 39,000th time I've read this series. I go back to it over and over again, and I love it more every time. I'm settling in now for a good long read, happy to be spending my day escaping into Melanie Rawn's world of Sunrunners and dragons.

I don't want this book to end. I've been rationing it, reading only a very little at a time, even though I'm completely caught up in the story and want to read straight through to the end.

I'm completely in love with this book. I'm not sure why, but when I started it I thought it was going to be a cotton candy book - light and fluffy with no real substance. It quickly became clear that I'd confused Ink and Bone with something else. I'm thoroughly drawn into the story and I can't put it down.

I am hating the audiobook. When I read it myself I somehow missed the incessant repetition of the phrase "in the Nightside." It seems to be tacked on to the end of every fifth sentence, in the Nightside. I'm finding it exceptionally distracting, in the Nightside. I'm also not really enjoying the narrator's performance. He makes the story far more campy than it seemed when I read it. In the Nightside. Argh.

I'm listening to the audiobook this time around and enjoying it even more than the first time I read it. The narrator's voice is perfect for this series.
