Girl with health anxiety reads book in most deadly disease known to man. Finds herself sweating and checking for symptoms, wondering if this phlegm in her throat is pollen or TB.

“We’re just friends” while kissing foreheads, holding hands, and sharing heated hugs under street lamps.

Finally sinking into this. Get it?

Remember when I was like, “yeah Six of Crows just wasn’t for me, don’t think I like this kind of fantasy”?

Guess it wasn’t that bad cause here I am, back for more. Or maybe it’s that all the other books I want to read are on hold and I happen to own a copy of this one.

Every time the word “waffles” appears, I roll my eyes.

It’s giving Twilight vibes. Like. The names. The location. The characters.

And there it is. The big misunderstanding. The big lie.

Can I be real? I haven’t read in like a day and a half because let’s face it. We’re nearing the finish line and that means the real conflict is about to happen. Someone gets betrayed. A secret is revealed. A relationship blows up. There’s a fight. Some huge miscommunication. Whatever it’s about to be, it’s always the same. And it always stresses me the hell out. So I’m putting it off, baby!!

Can someone come demand I accompany them to a private island and force ME to buy a bunch of designer clothes? Whatever.

I regret picking this up. Meh.

Will this end happily or will I be depressed forever?

I think this is also going to hurt my brain. Tylenol and coffee at the ready.

So like? Cool concept. Fun little twists happening here! The writing style is mostly annoying, occasionally clever (like me). And why is our little author so dang graphic? The violence is a bit over the top, no???

I think I hate this book??
