I am finding that the key to reaching my annual book goal, and perhaps the key to all of reading, is to expect little of myself and mostly read short books.

This book is also very good so far.

First, I’m amazed this is on Goodreads. Good job Goodreads. Second, you must now listen to every song ever produced by Andy Squyres right at this very moment. The light and easy yoke of the Lord is now upon you. Take no time to say goodbye to your parents; the journey cannot wait.

I may never finish this book, but God has been good to me through it. I like to think that one day, it will not be at the bottom of my “currently reading” stack on my nightstand.

I would like to qualify this update with two confessions. First, that I owe Moody Bible Institute’s Crowell Library for their infinite patience towards me as I have checked this book out for 18 consecutive months without finishing it. Second, that I cannot bear to update the percentage of my reading completion with the actual number if I were to read all 9 appendices. I trust you will understand.

You bet your marbles I’m starting a fourth book before finishing any of the other ones I’ve spent all year reading.

Will I ever REALLY finish this book? The world may never know.

Surprisingly enjoyable and widely informative for a commentary on such a specific few chapters.

Easier read than expected. Wish I understood more context… but on the whole, feeling pretty encouraged that my life is pledged to Jewish-Christian logic rather than Greek polytheistic logic!
