My gaming experience is limited to Sim City and FarmVille years ago, but I thoroughly enjoyed learning about the brilliant creativity and expertise that go into the creation of a modern computer game. The characters in this novel are well-realized, and the story of their friendship gives the book its heart. I loved this book and may even make an effort to play a computer game.

Sure, It’s political pay-back for Hillary Clinton, and Goodreads reviewers are ranting whether or not they’ve actually read the novel, but I am rating it for pure entertainment reading during my vacation. This is Louise Penny’s first thriller and first novel collaboration, and I was consistently intrigued by the plot and amused by the satirical digs. A page-turner indeed!
