My very first Net Galley ARC book!! I really enjoyed the first one in this series and I can’t wait to see what comes next in the story!

I was so excited to be accepted for my very first ARC through Net Galley..only to realize it was a sequel to a previous book. lol..oopsie. But a quick Kindle download later, and now I get to read TWO new books, so I’m excited to dive into a new world!!!

Ok, soooo on like the first page, there’s a link to the *soundtrack* of the book. I cannot say enough how much I LOVE when book do this…it’s AWESOME!

Combining two of my biggest loves..books & music?? Yes. Please. All books should do this, lol.

Even better, I’m loving most of the songs…now I really can’t wait to dive in. ;)

Oh Backman..you’re going to absolutely wreck me again, aren’t you. I can feel it coming..I mean, who am I kidding, it has already begun! I am utterly obsessed with everything this man writes! I laugh, I cry, I feel, I think, I want to highlight all the absolute nuggets of written GOLD produced in every book….ugh!!!! It’s the best and the worst…cuz I know the tears are coming……but it hurts so good!

I tried but I can’t. Maybe it’s too complicated for an audiobook? But I was lost most of the time, and could not get into this book to save my life.

Love me some Adrienne Young..can’t wait to see where this one goes!

I just could NOT get into this as an audiobook... I definitely want to get my hands on an actual hard copy and try again.

Dispite my dislike for E,P,L, I hate to leave something unfinished, so here I go again..

Commence more eye rolling, snorts of disagreement, & occasional LOLing because Gilbert IS funny when she's not ranting or trying to convince me why marriage is horrible and antiquated. When she's TELLING HER STORY, interacting with people, describing beautiful places and cultures, it's enjoyable. Unfortunately, that's rare.

I know, Jodie, I know... You told me not to bother.. but I can't leave a series unfinished... 😜
