The plot progresses rather slowly and, although chapters are all relatively short, it does affect my reading speed - or lack there off. But it's interesting, this mixture of mystery and history.

Slowly making my way through this book.

The story itself is nice so far. I've read books where kingdoms are at war and rebels fighting an 'evil' government', but none of that has ever been so military orientated, which is definitely interesting.

I'm also liking the slowish pace, if only because it makes it a more relaxed read for me now.
