Gave the book to Dale!

Started strong, now it’s losing me.

I’m listening in audio book format and it’s painful! The narrator, Abby Craden, is monotone and slogging along. Even speeding up the playback, the lack of inflections and pause seems like it’s read by a robot.

Stopped until I can pick up the hard copy.

Picked this up on the “share table” at work for a summer thriller. So far, I’m hooked!

I couldn’t finish this. Likely I’m too old for the story. Rory is pathetic, Mike Martin is ridiculous and what could have been a cute story is just one sappy scene after another. Not worth my time.
