Beverly is 56% done with The Fourth Monkey (4MK Thriller, #1)
Quit at 56%. Didn’t like the characters or the story. Way too creepy for me.

Beverly is 5% done with Gone Girl
I have tried several times to read this book. I can never get beyond 5% (Kindle). The continuous cutest-clever comments are overdone and make the book torturous to read. Does it get better?

Interesting book. Reads like a political journal. I was hoping for more personal stories.

Beverly is on page 50 of 301 of The Sweet Gum Tree
Just started this book. It is delightful. The church pot-luck dinner reminded me of growning up in western N.C. Looking forward to reading more.

Rambling. Unlikeable characters. Too many story threads that lead nowhere. Struggling to finish.

None of the characters in this book are likeable. What's up with this trend? I want at least one character I can identify with or like in some way.
