Stephanie is reading Girl Wash your Face
I didn't know who Rachel Hollis was when I decided to borrow this audiobook from my library. It isn't my normal style for motivation or self help but I'm enjoying the listen

Stephanie is reading The Power of Now: A Guide to Spiritual Enlightenment
I love hearing authors read their books aloud. I read or partially read this book when I was in high school but it was not the right timing for me. Listening to it now is soothing and I am enjoying it. Eckhart Tolle has the most perfect reading voice of all time.

This is the best book ever written. I'm in love with Sherri Winston.

I just don't know what to make of the part where Frederick Baker says that the father should be tandem nursing with the child............ Just make sure you leave enough for the baby. Shit this book was so awesome up until that moment. I'm pretty sure women don't have enough milk to nourish a grown man and even if they do, I cannot understand why that is necessary or even an appropriate way to bond.

"The roof had been blown off of the cellblock of consensual reality and I was escaping, climbing toward the stars, trailing tatters of abandoned orthodoxy, surfing a tide of higher wisdom that is forever off-limits to the sober and the prudent. Figuratively speaking, obviously: I hadn't spilled a drop of my Pepsi." Page 92

"Remember, plants participate in very active night lives. Enter your garden during the evening hours and hang out with them in the quiet moonlight. Experience the magnificent nocturnal energy that the garden residents emanate. . . a very good time to exchange a few silent "words" and frolic in your garden's lunacy."
