Keigo Higashino's mysteries are always so intriguing

Very, very YA-coded but also quite addictive

Switching to the ebook because the audiobook is annoying me a bit (the narrator is good, but there's just a certain intonation he gives to the main characters that I'm struggling with)

These last chapters are so engrossing ... I'm torn between wanting to finish it in one go, or taking my time because I don't want to let these characters go.

Going into the last 30% ... I had forgotten about the Carnival scenes, and they were just so good

End of chapter VIII - ah, this supposed love triangle is as delicious as I remembered. But reading now for a 2nd time it seems quite clear who the end game is

So far enjoying this a lot

Re-reading my favourite GGK, this time in audio ❤️

I started this book a few weeks ago, then wasn't in the right mood, but last night finally picked it up again - I had forgotten how good this author is at writing about families and their heartbreaking stories, and I'm pretty sure this is going to make me cry

This feels like watching a Wes Anderson movie ... but even more dysfunctional and unhinged. Can't say I care for these characters but the story is strangely addictive

Just read most of this during my flight, and it is surprisingly less depressing and much funnier than I expected

This second chance romance is so my cup of tea, really emjoying this

Maggie O'Farrell can write beautifully, but boy does she make her characters suffer. Part 3 finally made me cry. I hope nothing happens to Rose and Eugene but I'm already resigned there will be some kind of tragedy

The talking fish was unexpected, but otherwise really enjoying this

Buddy read with my daughter, only she has already finished so I'm trying to catch up. 10% in and I can already tell this book will be both frustrating (why is it so long ? so much unnecessary detail) and at the same time somewhat compelling (as in some of the inner dialogue and interactions so far are also quite funny). Let's see if it's good enough to make me want to read book 2
