i do think a plot can twist too many times when you aren’t as invested as the author thinks you are

the plot of these books is diabolical how is so much happening and i can take none of it seriously and im always confused

i know i said i wasn’t gonna read the sequel bc the first one was Not Good on reread, but i have dissertation brain and can’t handle anything new right now

i’m so bad at figuring out whether pacing is off in books or if my reading speed is the problem

they keep describing these lizard creatures and i can’t tell if i should be picturing big alligators or whole ass dinosaurs

the vibes are a vibe but i’ve also read the word sheath SO many times
