The steppe:
- A story about a young boys journey of a day or two, going from one life to another across the eastern steppe. Rich and sensory descriptions of a dramatic landscape, and resonant portrayals of different types of people - all told from the boys perspective in one way or another. Everything is so full at that age and that’s really well captured.
