🧐 jury’s still out, but for book club (even when I know I won’t be there) we persevere.

This is the first book in A WHILE that’s really hooked me to the point all I want to do is read it. Definitely has Atmosphere vibes, but much less science jargon.

This is NOT a summer book, but for book club we read on.

Even though it was mostly due to Libby wait times, I regret not reading this sooner.

Still going. Really nervous my Spotify audiobook hours are going to run out before I finish.

Not a fan of the narrator or main character, but intrigued. I know this is Jackson’s first adult novel, but still gives major Good Girl’s Guide to Murder vibes with a lot more swearing to up the age rating.

I started and put this one down earlier this year. Let’s try this again… interesting and unique concept (solving your own murder), but the main character is really getting on my nerves.

I think I’m missing the plot here. Emma Lion is certainly witty and funny, but I feel like this entire book is introduction/setting rather than an actual plot.

This is not the book I thought it was, but we’re doing this.

Full cast audiobook makes it feel like a true crime podcast.

Understand why people were excited to read this in the fall (definitely fall vibes), but it’s really just your basic romance right now. Nothing earth-shattering.

The way I could rant about this book at this point.

Oh the miscommunications (or really lack there of) tropes! Even so, I just want to keep reading this book. Sadly, life has been crazy and forcing me to actually be productive at home leaving less time to read than I’d like.

I’ve enjoyed the other KH books I’ve read, but most were slow for me to get into. The Great Alone has me intrigued pretty early on.

What’s funny is that I came home from Alaska and the Yukon last year craving a historical fiction book about the Yukon gold rush. (Please recommend if you know one.) This isn’t it, but it’s at least giving some of those vibes.

Such a quick read/easy listen. Determined to finish by the end of the month.

Here for it so far. The set up happened so quickly though that I’m really wondering what fake-dating antics I’m in for for 200+ more pages.

Only a day into this one and really enjoying it. But why does it seem like every book I read lately has a massive grief-driven plot line???

Really enjoying the audiobook version, which I usually do for memoirs.

The last few chapters have thankfully picked up so Crosby had to leave the ridiculous amount of similes in the exposition.

I dk about this one, but listening on audio and not sure I’m really feeling the narrator.

This book give The Sound of Music the Saving Mr. Banks treatment.
