So many good romance tropes and I’m not even at the half way mark lol… enemies to lovers, forced proximity, forbidden lovers, & fake dating! Really appreciating the power of a plot device in this one, similar to Shirlene O lol, the things I find myself annoyed about are necessary to move the plot. Like girl, why are you getting drunk in the presence of your enemy?!! 😂

My first romantasy and I’m hooked. Literally had to stop myself from starting chapter 3 so I can go to bed lol.

I truly love how funny Mia is. I continue to love her simplicitic, matter-of-fact, humorous style. I feel like her writing style puts to paper ‘black people laughing instead of crying’ and I can’t get enough.

Loving this but the MMC & FMC are starting PMO lol. I’m still holding out that I’ll find out how Ezra feels…

Wow just wow… truly blown away. The true definition of well-written. I’m blown away by the detail in these characters. Can’t wait to see what happens next.
