i will be so upset if the author decided to go for the most obvious and easy twist. i dont think he’ll do that for the reader tho. its going so good so far, pls dont ruin it 😩

sometimes i forgot the story we’re reading right now is not the ‘actual thing’ that happened at the house. this is a book written by one of the people that went there and somehow survived - thus unreliable narrative from the beginning. im assuming it is written by one of the authors and following one of Miyagaki’s rules, they also have to be the victim in their own story.

started this one bcs i couldnt sleep one night and its available on my kindle. seems interesting so far. ive only read mxtx works before, so this feels different. i like the writing style too. moran is such a mess, i need to know what happened in his previous life. but if it turns out to be another yuwu, i might not continue the series.

kena is such an interesting character. i can’t seem to understand her behaviour in this one. she’s spiralling so badly it seems a bit out of character. perhaps what happened to her and whatever’s happening afterwards just mess her soo badly.

some creepy and strange vibes from the islanders. i like it.

a friend didnt recommend this book at all but i already bought the hardback for rm5.. and ive always wanted to read this book since many years ago (i think i wrote about it on my blog when i was 16) and 7 chapters in, kinda intrigued. but can i finish this 900+ monstrosity of a book without pausing? we'll see we'll see.
