I'm calling my Reading Challenge done for the year.
My lowest goal ever and I still didn't complete it.
I've been in a reading slump for over a year now and haven't been able to lose myself in books the same way I normally do, even with all of *this* going on.
I could grab a few graphic novels and finish this off but I'm just not motivated.
Surviving a plague sucks, especially while disabled.

Had a great weekend at the Sydney Writers Festival and I have a sizeable pile of new books to catalog and shelve :p
I enjoyed the conversations I got to have with some authors, and some other attendees. And the panels I attended were fantastic.
Be prepared for some "want to read" spam as I add some books to my shelves that I couldn't get this weekend.

Won't be hitting my reading goal for the year. This year has been hard. I've been in isolation since the start of March because I'm high risk for C19.
I was able to work from home until I lost my job. I had to cancel all my plans. I haven't seen friends for most of the year. I got dumped 2 days ago. I hit the biggest reading slump I have ever had. My mental health and disabilities have worsened. Fuck 2020.

Anybody else in a Covid Isolation related reading slump? I still haven't read my challenge book from last month because I'm just not motivated.

Off to Perth for 8 days for relaxing, touristing and cross stitching. Lots of time to get some reading in as well XD
