Getting closer to the end now. They've met the Oracle now. The tension between Teclis, Gotrek and the others works really well.

So I'm re-reading this series. I loved it and I might even read beyond this - the last book I own. I think there's another Omnibus now, unlike when I first read it.

I have published Deathsworn Arc 6: Emergence. I honestly thought I never would. It's been 7 years since 'The Temple of the Mad God', I've probably worked on this book more than any of the previous. Is it the last? I don't think so. Will I finish the series? I want to, I want to get my writing career back on track. I've already started planning Deathsworn Arc 7. I can't wait to see the first reviews come in!

Wow... This has been an absolutely amazing read. I wanted to read it for a long time, because I started with book 2. The first book wasn't amazing if I'm honest but Skaven Slayer was Amazing and Daemon Slayer is proving to be equally so! Only downside is I can see the flavour of my own writing in this. I wrote all my stuff first, but I can see why people might think... Urgh! Should have read this years ago!

I love these books and wish I'd read this years ago. I also wish I had more time to read lately. And write! Still working on Deathsworn Arc 6, really in the final edit. I just hope I can it sorted soon. Difficult when you have two kids at highschool with busy lives to operate around. My job has been a lot nusier than usual lately.

The present Mrs. Stanley does NOT approve of these books. She doesn't respect 'Black Library' Literature. I have to say though, I love William King's Gotrek and Felix stories. They're dark, gritty, adult, interesting. The world is fascinating and the idea of telling the story from the perspective of the bard Felix is genius.

I'm still editing Deathsworn Arc 6! We're now going through chapter 26/40 or so! I know it's late, I know anyone reading the series has probably lost interest by now but dammit - I will finish and publish this book!

Staring at the Sun: Overcoming the Terror of Death
I've been told, that at least a good portion of my mental health issues are related to death anxiety. I was recommended this book to that effect. I'm a good way in now, and Irvin has talked about many case studies and methods and suggestions for dealing with patient's 'death anxiety'. Really this book reads like it's aimed at counsellors and psychotherpists rather than people suffering. It's still very interesting!

Wow... Nearly through this. I actually think I prefer this to book 3. I really love this book. Highlights? The battle at the start, the encounter with Olwyn Blackhand, Vexis introduction, the trial by combat, the witch trial, Brael's magical space rocket bit, the fall out of Tubol and Tavion rocking up... I'm on the final duel of the book now. I really like it. I also like the little bits of characterisation in this.

Just read the introduction to Vexis. From the vetinary duties in Berman's Rock to the dark dreams in Durth Orza and Kirkfell and back. I think this was a really brilliant introduction to her character. I have to say, I think this bit is one of my favourite bits in the series!

I finished my re-read of book 1 and I'm getting stuck into book 2. I actually think I prefer this to the first book, but I don't think I could enjoy this as much as I'm enjoying it without getting to know the group as you do in book 1. Highlights so far? Well, the journey to and the events in Strak definitely. The encounter with the Dragon Priest Ramon Hern and the verkreath infested Beren'Gedt Holt. Book 6 = coming!
