Yesterday, I started the audiobook again. In light of the upcoming release if "The Black Wolf", and, given that I feel a connection with some of the characters in the Gamache books, I decided to give it another chance. I realized that I let myself be put off by the new narrator - which is not fair.

I really like Barbara Kingsolver's writing, but a non-fiction audiobook is not my cuppa.

I like the book, but there's just too much going on right now. I don't know if I'll ever finish it.

Apparently I read this book, but it must have been soooo long ago. I'll stick with the audiobook for a while and see if I remember it.

I just can't go on, this book is just not for me.

So far the book is fairly interesting to me. There is one device, though, that began to irritate me once it was pointed out by one of the characters.

Oddly, I'm bored by this audiobook version. I ran out of time with my Libby loan so I returned it. I have placed the ebook on hold, maybe I'll be able to get into it?

I'm getting a bit tired of this series but it's still pretty good.
